These are the latest versions of the macros I use in my layouts and feature in my videos. Most exist for convenience or to streamline actions that would otherwise feel awkward.
You may notice macro commands wrapped in green and red brackets {like this} in my videos. These are auto-translate entries; to insert one, start typing a word (e.g. "Hello" or "/lockon") and press Tab. They're entirely optional and have no effect on whether the macro works.

Sprint
Breaks target lock-on and uses sprint. I assign this to (L3) via macro 98. I intentionally do not overload this with other traversal actions (such as peloton or mounts) to maintain granular control.

Assist targeting
Breaks target lock-on and targets the current target's target. This is useful for all roles, but is especially helpful when playing a healer. I assign this to (R3) via macro 99.

Camera/Target Lock-on
Toggles camera lock-on, which can be particularly helpful for melee DPS classes with positional attacks. Other macros also break lock-on to avoid awkward behavior in critical combat moments.

Sets the current target as the focus target, allowing for the Focus macro to retarget it as well as for tracking on the HUD. Use this without a target to clear the focus target.

Verraise spam
For Red Mage, I make one exception to my usual approach to combat macros. This macro repeatedly attempts to cast Verraise, targeting the first incapacitated party member within range. I don't rely on the macro alone, though; I keep a direct Verraise on my hotbar as well. The macro has proven useful during chaotic moments.

For jobs that have pets (more specifically for Scholar), the pet actions Place and Heel may be combined into a usable macro. For Heel, invoke the macro, then cancel ground targeting. For Place, complete the ground target action instead.

Crafter hotbars sync
These macros copy the current job's hotbars to every crafting job. Use these when setting up crafting job hotbars for the first time. Set up one job, then execute the macros to set up the other jobs identically. Two macros are needed since each macro maxes out at 16 lines.

Swap cross hotbars left <--> right
This swaps the contents of cross hotbars 1-4 with 5-8 for the current job. I used this when I made a change to my core setup to use hotbars 5-8 for all primary job actions. The macro uses Gladiator cross hotbar 1 for temporary swap space, though any class or job with unused hotbars would be perfectly suitable.

Clear all cross hotbars
Removes all actions from all eight cross hotbars, regardless of whether they are shared or job specific. To completely clear out a job's actions, first unshare all cross hotbars, then run the macro. Alternatively, to completely clear all shared cross hotbars, first share all cross hotbars, then run the macro.
